Delete in the app
- Open Silent Speech and go to Settings.
- Choose Delete account and personal data.
- Complete the confirmation shown by the app.
Access is disabled immediately. The deletion job removes account data, recordings, derived data, personal model artifacts, notification tokens, exports, and product operational records associated with the account. It also marks the contribution as withdrawn so its source data cannot be used in future shared-model training.
Already-trained shared models
A shared model version trained before withdrawal is an aggregate research artifact and cannot currently be untrained retroactively. It remains until that version is retired or replaced. We retain only a pseudonymous contribution-withdrawal record needed to prevent future reuse; it contains no clips, transcripts, account identifiers, or storage paths.
If you cannot access the app
Email privacy@dafdef.com and state that you are requesting Silent Speech account deletion. We will verify that you control the account before acting. Do not send recordings, tokens, or invitation codes by email.
Recovery windows
Google Cloud Storage's recovery window can retain soft-deleted encrypted objects for up to seven additional days before final removal. Limited records may be retained only when required for legal, security, or abuse-prevention purposes and will be minimized or pseudonymized where appropriate.
