Record at your own pace

Create a script, adjust the reading speed and text size, then record while your words scroll beside the camera. Find saved takes in Videos, preview them, share them, or export them to Photos. An account and AI-training participation are required to record.

Every recording uploads automatically

This app is free with required research participation. Before recording, review the disclosure and policy links under the login buttons. By continuing with Apple or Google, you sign in and confirm that you are 18 or older, have the necessary recording rights, and accept automatic uploads and the linked agreement. There is no separate consent page. Every new recording, including audio, then uploads automatically. There is no local-only recording mode or per-video sharing choice. Historical videos made before this acceptance are not added automatically. Builds without configured account and upload services cannot record.

Uploads include the original video of your face and mouth, voice audio, recording time, and limited device and app information. We store recordings in Google Cloud and derive transcripts, mouth crops, and quality measurements to develop and train current and future commercial AI models. Your teleprompter script stays on your device. Record only yourself and content you have the necessary rights and permissions to upload for AI training.

Recordings are used for speech-model development, not facial identification. The Research Agreement, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Use govern account participation. This page explains the feature; it does not replace those documents.

If an upload is interrupted

Keep the app open with an internet connection. Transfers can use mobile data. The app retains the local original and retries interrupted uploads when reopened. Check the video page for upload and quality-verification status. “Uploaded” does not mean a recording has already been used in training. A failed quality check does not prevent local playback or export.

Stop sharing or delete your data

• Stop new collection: sign out in Your account and stop using recording features. Sign-out locks the app and stops transfers; it does not withdraw previously uploaded data. Export saved videos before signing out. Use the account icon on the login screen to sign in only for privacy and deletion controls, without renewing the agreement.
• Delete a cloud recording: use the cloud-deletion control on its video page or in Uploads & account. The local original is kept.
• Delete a local video: this removes only the on-device copy, not an existing cloud contribution.
• Delete your account: use Delete account & data in Uploads & account. This affects your shared account across all apps from Dafdef, inc., including the teleprompter.

For withdrawal, retention details or deletion without access to the app, see Delete your data or email privacy@interfaces.inc. Deleted or withdrawn source information is excluded from future training, subject to the policy; training already completed cannot be undone.
